Balla Academy for Education and Teaching
Balla Academy was founded in 1998 as the first private School and kindergarten in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Balla expanded by opening its first primary school in the Region. The success of Balla has been remarkable, earning continuous appreciation from Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) authorities and the parents of its students.
Therefore, in an effort to further promote our country’s educational, social and scientific goals, present best services in the field of education in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and to raise an educated and knowledgeable generation, we stablished the (Balla Academy for Education and Teaching) in 1998 as the first educational project of its kind in the Kurdistan Region with License Number (1) from the KRG’s Ministry of Education.
We, first, opened a kindergarten, and then later in the same year we opened a nursery after we got a permission from the KRG’s Ministry of Social Affairs. In 2001 opened the elementary school, so that the children who had been attending our nursery and kindergarten continue their education there. We, thus, started to accept pupils from other kindergartens and schools. In the beginning, we had 68 pupils, and the project slowly but steadfastly flourished. We got a good reputation from the start due to the high standard educational programs, experienced and qualified teachers and also the very positive feedback we got from the parents of the pupils and also from the relevant authorities.
In 2007 we opened the secondary stage (from the 7th grade) so that the pupils from the elementary school continue their education at our academy. Pupils will have to pass through a comprehensive exam and interview to test their educational, scientific and general information by a specialized committee in order to be accepted in our secondary stage.
The same year, 2007, we got permission from the KRG Ministry of Education to open our English School. That is an entire school where all the curricula are taught in English language and in a separate building. Thus, another branch of our school from Kindergarten to 12th Grade has been opened where the same KRG curriculum is taught in English.
This English branch was advantageous, especially for the Kurdish children returning from the diaspora. Furthermore, we opened training and educational courses for all of our staff (teachers and administrators) and we invited seasoned experts, local and foreign, to deliver educational, scientific, and cultural lectures to our staff to upgrade their knowledge, information and experience. We have always urged and encouraged our teachers to organize scientific, educational and cultural exhibitions and activities in addition to holding competitions and tournaments among pupils to diversify their sources of information and add the factor of entertainment in the process of learning. Summer courses were also made available to pupils.
We paid attention to technology and teaching aids to support our educational process and help raise an educated and self-confident generation in the Kurdistan Region that is better equipped with knowledge and information to help them better build their country and serve their fellow citizens. With the help of The Almighty God, our teachers, staff and the parents of our pupils, our academy, until the writing of this introduction, (the academic year 2020-2021) is doing very well and is continuing in its educational services.
Year after year it welcomes more pupils and we receive positive and encouraging feedback from both parents and from relevant authorities. We aspire to do better and further progress in order to serve the educational process in the Kurdistan Region and present an educated generation of youths who make their families and homeland proud. باخچه و قوتابخانەی (باڵا) وەك پێشەنگی پرۆسەی پەروەردەو فێركردنی ناحكومی له ساڵی(1998)به مۆڵەتی ژماره (1) له سەر ئاستی ھەرێمی كوردستان ھاتۆته بواری خزمەتكردن توانیویەتی بە باشترین شێوە و ئاستی بەرز خزمەتی منداڵان و قوتابییان و بواری پەروەردە و فێركردن بكات. ھەر لە پێناو زیاتر پێشكەوتن و سەركەوتنی پرۆسەكەمان ئەمساڵ به جوانترین شێوه و باشترین مامۆستای شارەزا و خاوەن ئەزموون دەست بەكار دەبێت.

دواتر هاندانى مامۆستایان بۆ کردنەوەى پێشانگەى زانستى و پەروەردەیى و رۆشنبیرى و کلتورى….هتد وە ئەنجامدانى پێشبڕکێى جۆراو جۆر لە نێوان قوتابیان و کردنەوەىخولى هاوینە لە سەرجەم وانە و چالاکى هەمەجۆر، وە گرنگیدان بە هەموو ئامێرێک و هۆکارێک و تەکنەلۆژیایەکى نوێ کە هەمووى لە پێناو سەرکەوتن و پێشکەوتنى زیاترى پرۆسەى پەروەردە و فێرکردن بووە لە هەرێمى کوردستانى خۆشەویست و پێگەیاندنى نەوەیەکى رۆشنبیرو زانا و پەروەردە کار کە لە دوا رۆژ بە دڵنیاییەوە متمانەیەکى تەواویان بە خۆیان هەبێت بۆ بەڕێوەبردنى کاروبارى خۆیان و ئەو ئەرکەى پێیان دەسپێردرێت و خزمەتکردنى گەل و وڵاتەکەیان بە باشترین شێوەى سەردەمیانەى پێشکەوتوو و بە پشتیوانى خوداى گەورە و مامۆستایان و فەرمانبەران و کارمەندانى دڵسۆز و هاوکارى دایک و باوکانى بەڕێز کۆمەڵگەکەمان تا ئەمڕۆ کە ساڵى خوێندنى (2020-2021) دەست پێدەکات بە شێوەیەکى زۆرباشى پەروەردەییانە و زانستیانە بەڕێوە دەچێت و رۆژ لە دواى رۆژ ئاستى باشتر و بەرزتر تۆمار دەکات و بەشێوەیەکى زۆرباش پەیوەندیدارەکان و دایک و باوکانى بەڕێز زۆرتر دەبێت بەو هیوایەى بتوانین ساڵ لە دواى ساڵ سەرکەوتن و پێشکەوتنى زیاتر بە دەست بێنین و تۆمارى بکەین کە هەمووى هیوا و ئامانجى کۆمەڵگەکەمان بە دەستەى کارگێڕى و گشت مامۆستایان و فەرمانبەران و کارمەندان تەنیا پێشکەوتنى پرۆسەى پەروەردە و فێرکردنە و پێگەیاندنى نەوەیەکى زانا و رۆشنبیرە کە بنەماڵەکەیان و گەل و نیشتمان شانازیان پێوەبکات خوداى میهرەبان هەمووى لایەکمان سەرکەوتوو بکات
